Where many a dinner party has been held and wine shared, stands a distinctive smoke tree. It represents the natural beauty of Sonoma, and serves as a visual reminder of the inspiration behind our craft.

We focus our site selection on cool micro-climates to bring naturally beautiful, distinctive fruit profiles to the final blend. The majority of our Chardonnay comes from Carneros, the hillsides of Alexander Valley and the Fountaingrove District. Our winemaker selects parcels with balanced flavors, lifted aromatics and mineral expression. The majority of our Pinot Noir comes from Sonoma Coast and the windswept vineyards of Carneros. Our winemaker selects parcels with dark fruit characteristics, bold flavors and substance. For Smoke Tree Rosé, our winemaker seeks micro-climates with warm days, cool nights and minimal diurnal shift to provide fruit with balanced acidity and fresh flavors.
